Hilda Kunnola is a harpist from Helsinki who graduated with a Master’s degree in Music from the Sibelius Academy in 2024. Her primary teachers were Stefania Saglietti Couto and Päivi Severeide, and she furthered her studies under Kirsten Echen at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.

Originally from Kuusisto, Hilda is a versatile chamber musician who collaborates closely with various musicians and ensembles. She has performed in productions such as the play Young Idealists, directed by Michael Baran at the Finnish National Theatre, as well as at the Toivakka Chamber Music Festival, Luosto Soi! Festival, Radalla Festival, and Kamarikesä Festival.

As a soloist, Kunnola has played with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and as a young soloist with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. As an orchestral musician, she has played with several Finnish orchestras, including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Lahti Symphony Orchestra, and as a substitute in the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to classical harp, Hilda performs contemporary music, composes her own music, and plays the lever harp.
