Aida Hadzajlic is a Helsinki-born Finnish-Croatian violist. Hadzajlic began her studies at the East Helsinki Music School and graduated from the Sibelius Academy in 2024, where she studied under Lilli Maijala, Helge Valtonen, Pirkko Simojoki and Annariina Jokela. She has also taken part in masterclasses led by renowned violists such as Lawrence Power, Nils Mönkemeyer, Yuval Gotlibovich, Ivan Vukcevic, Silvia Simionescu and Simone Gramaglia.  

Chamber music has always played a significant role in Hadzajlic’s life, and she has been performing in various chamber ensembles since the age of nine. Later, she studied chamber music under the guidance of Marko Ylönen and Paavo Pohjola. She was a founding member of the Erinys Quartet and worked as its violist for four years. Together with the Erinys Quartet, Hadzajlic participated in the Trondheim Chamber Music Competition in the autumn of 2021 and performed at the Mimir Chamber Music Festival in Texas, as well as in several cities across Greece.

Hadzajlic has performed as a chamber musician at several festivals, including Musiikkia! Ruovesi, Luosto soi!, Bástya Koncertek Festival and Kokkolan SyysKamari. She has gained orchestral experience with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, she has held principal viola positions in the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, the Helsinki Chamber Orchestra and the Lappeenranta City Orchestra. She has also performed with The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Hadzajlic plays a French viola made by Jean Theodore Namy in 1780.
